Dabo Swinney Won't Be Taking Clemson On A Spring Break Trip

Don't expect the Tigers to take a trip to Europe any time soon.

Jim Harbaugh is taking his Michigan football team to Europe. The Wolverines will spend a week in Italy for "education and spring drills" at the end of April after finals are over.

This trip comes a year after Harbaugh took his team to Florida during spring break.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney was asked at the Senior Bowl if he'd ever do something similar with the Tigers.

His response: "Heck no."

"Taking my kids’ spring break? Heck no," Swinney said. "My guys deserve their time off. They work hard enough for me to take their spring break from them."

He did seem a little jealous of the Italy trip, though.

"I may go with them," Swinney said. "I may go with them. Wow, never been to Italy."

Clemson seems to be doing just fine without these trips. The Tigers will attempt to repeat as national champs in 2017.
