The Florida State football program has fallen off significantly in recent years.
After Jameis Winston led the team to a national title, Seminoles fans haven’t had much to cheer about. Willie Taggart took over the program after just one year at Oregon and things are not going well.
Florida State entered Saturday’s game against Clemson as heavy underdogs. The Tigers entered the contest as 26.5-point favorites, but even that line wasn’t enough.
Clemson opened a 42-0 lead early in the second half, prompting fans to freak out about the state of the Florida State football program.
Former Florida State quarterback Danny Kanell is here to calm the hearts and minds of the Seminoles faithful.
Kanell tweeted a message to Florida State fans suggesting they shouldn’t be upset with the game…because Clemson did the same thing to Alabama.
To FSU fans upset with this game…
(Whispers) They did this to Bama too

Then a true freshman quarterback, Trevor Lawrence led the Tigers to a dominant victory over Alabama in the national title game.
However, to suggest Alabama and Florida State are even in the same ballpark is ridiculous at best.
We all love Danny Kanell, but his ACC bias appears to be getting out of hand.
As for the game on the field, Clemson holds a 42-7 lead midway through the fourth quarter.
