Deshaun Watson took the NFL by storm as a rookie in 2017. He was the favorite to win Rookie of the Year until a knee injury cut his season short.
Watson is on schedule to be fully recovered from his torn ACL in time to lead the Houston Texans this season. When he’s healthy, the sky is the limit for the former Clemson star.
But health is the main question mark for Watson. He suffered a knee injury in college and was able to bounce back even stronger, but at least some pundits are concerned about his staying power at the professional level.
Fox Sports radio host Ben Maller is one of those people. In a segment today, Maller said Watson “ain’t gonna be around for long” because of his playing style and his body won’t be able to handle the NFL.

There you have it from the man itself.
For what it’s worth, it seems premature to declare Watson’s career in trouble because of injuries. It is always a concern when a player is coming back from a major injury but Watson is young and uber-talented.
