Deshaun Watson, Three Other Clemson Juniors To Leave After 2016 Season

Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson and several other juniors are set to declare for the NFL draft following the 2016 season.

Clemson football head coach Dabo Swinney announced at his Tuesday press conference that Deshaun Watson and several other Clemson juniors will be honored this Saturday on Senior Day when the Tigers host Pitt.

Among the juniors to forgo another season are running back Wayne Gallman, receivers Artavis Scott and Mike Williams and, of course, quarterback and Heisman hopeful Deshaun Watson.

“All of those guys are planning on moving on,” Swinney said, per The State.

This season, Watson has thrown for 2,497 yards and 24 touchdowns while rushing for 370 yards and two more scores.

Gallman has rushed for 634 yards and eight touchdowns on the year.

Williams and Scott are 1-2 in receptions for the Tigers. Williams has tallied 52 catches for 754 yards and five touchdowns, while Scott has hauled in 38 catches for 329 yards and three scores.

You can catch the Senior Day game at 3:30 p.m. E.T. on ABC. The Tigers are 20-point favorites.
