An elite running back narrowed his list.

As the 2018 recruiting cycle comes to its end, it's time to take a look at the 2019 class. We're under one week away from the final Signing Day for the 2018 class, but 2019 recruits are already making headlines.

Star running back recruit Devyn Ford took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to announce his six finalists. Ford already has 30 offers from some of the nation's top programs, but now he's down to just six.

Here they are.

  • Clemson
  • North Carolina
  • Ohio State
  • Oklahoma
  • Penn State
  • Virginia Tech

The Virginia native also holds offers from Michigan, Notre Dame, and Wisconsin. Virginia Tech is currently the favorite to land the in-state prospect, though Clemson isn't far behind, according to 247Sports' Crystal Ball Predictions.

Ford is the No. 4 running back recruit in the 2019 class and the No. 2 recruit from the state of Virginia. Here's the post from the man himself.

Ford stands at 5-foot-11 and weighs in at 185 pounds. Just a junior, he'll have plenty of time to bulk up to become and every down back by the time he reaches college.
