Replacing an elite talent like Trevor Lawrence might seem impossible, but the Clemson Tigers are built for long-term success because of DJ Uiagalelei. The five-star quarterback is clearly the heir apparent to Lawrence.

Uiagalelei is the No. 10 player in the 2020 recruiting class, and the No. 1 pro-style quarterback in the group per 247Sports' rankings. He had the chance to showcase his arm talent during the Polynesian Bowl in Hawaii.

It's highly unlikely that Uiagalelei sees playing time next season for the Tigers outside of him appearing toward the end of lopsided games. However, it's never too early for fans to get excited about his future.

All it took was one practice session for Uiagalelei to generate buzz at Clemson. The six-foot-five quarterback has all the physical tools necessary to be the program's next quarterback.

The early reviews are in for DJ Uiagalelei. Lawrence said that his new understudy "looks good. Just kind of the way he carries himself I feel like we are similar. We have a good relationship. Obviously he's a great player."

Lawrence and Uiagalelei were both elite recruits coming out of high school. We've already seen Lawrence live up to the hype, but the jury is still out on Uiagalelei.

Fans should be lining up to watch Uiagalelei at Clemson's annual spring game on Saturday, April 4 at Memorial Stadium.
