Five-star quarterback DJ Uiagalelei already has a lot to be proud of when it comes to his football career. After all, 247Sports ranks him as the best 2020 recruit at his position.

Well, it appears more good news is heading in Uiagalelei's direction.

Uiagalelei has officially received his invite to the Elite 11 Finals, which is titled as "the nation's premier quarterback competition." Clemson stars like Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence attended this competition when they were in high school as well.

In order to punch his ticket for this competition, Uiagalelei had to impress those watching at The Opening's Oakland regional.

The sky is the limit for Uiagalelei, who is coming off a jaw-dropping junior season. He finished with 3,366 passing yards, 48 touchdowns and only seven interceptions.

Competing in the Elite 11 Finals should give Uiagalelei proper training for college competition.

Other quarterback recruits that will partake in this competition includes Ethan Garbers, Harrison Bailey and Jacolby Criswell. All these recruits have either committed to a program from a major conference or receiving interest from them.

Uiagalelei will have the chance to validate his status as the top signal-caller from his class, while also bettering himself for his time at Clemson.

The event will last from June 28-30 in Texas.
