There’s no doubt about it: Alabama football is getting absolutely worked by Clemson tonight.
The Tigers lead 44-16 midway through the fourth quarter and just turned Alabama over on downs after a few big plays by the Crimson Tide.
It is hard to imagine a situation in which Alabama can come back with just 12:17 left on the clock.
With a win, the Tigers will even up the recent run of national championship games against Alabama at two a piece.
With all of the young talent on the field for both sides, no one would be terrible shocked to see a fifth edition of this title game next season.
Oddsmakers seem to think it is a huge possibility as well.
Clemson football is the favorite, followed by Alabama, to win the 2020 national championship as well.
Jeff Sherman of SuperBookUSA tweeted update odds moments ago, with Clemson at 9/5, followed by Alabama at 5/2.

That makes those two teams stark favorites, ahead of Ohio State and Georgia all the way down at 12/1.
It is almost hard to fathom yet another rematch, but both teams return so much freshman and sophomore firepower, with the primary losses coming in the two teams’ front sevens.
If we do get the rematch again, hopefully Tua Tagovailoa can keep pace with Trevor Lawrence and company. Tonight’s game has gotten out of hand.
