Ohio State and LSU remain most analysts’ favorite to win the national championship. It makes sense, too. Both the Buckeyes and Tigers have rolled through difficult schedules, passing the “eye test” along the way.
But Clemson has queitly made its way into the College Football Playoff. A lackluster schedule has caused the majority of college football fans to miss out on watching the Tigers this season. But don’t count out Dabo Swinney’s squad just because of a poor regular season schedule.
Clemson remains a dangerous opponent for the Buckeyes in the No. 2 vs No. 3 semifinal. Most are predicting an Ohio State victory. But one ESPN analyst thinks Clemson is not only going to beat OSU – he thinks the Tigers are going to win it all.
“I’m taking Clemson to win the whole thing,” ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky said during Get Up! on Monday morning. “I think that Clemson’s got this defense that not enough people are talking about. … Quarterback Trevor Lawrence is playing just as good as Joe Burrow. … I’m taking Clemson.”

Orlovsky’s got a serious argument here. Clemson still may have the best roster in the country, but it has yet to be put to the test. Ohio State will certainly present a serious challenge for the Tigers.
But Swinney will have his Tigers ready. Is Clemson going to win it all this year?
