ESPN's Danny Kanell Puts Iowa Ahead Of Alabama In His Latest Playoff Foursome

After easily the craziest college football Saturday of the year, all eyes are on the members of the playoff selection committee as they get set to announce their new top four this Tuesday. ESPN's Danny Kanell isn't part of said committee, but it's a sure bet that Iowa Hawkeyes fans wish that he was right about now. Kanell actually has Iowa above Alabama in his latest foursome - a decision that's likely to cause some controversy.

Kanell basically has the only two undefeated teams left - Clemson and Iowa - and his two best one-loss teams in the country, in that order. He even got into it a bit with an SEC fan.

Whether Kanell is right or wrong, Iowa's path to the playoff is simple. If the Hawkeyes can beat both Nebraska and whichever team represents the Big Ten East in the league's title game, they're in.
