Ex-Clemson WR DeAndre Hopkins Tweets Support For DeShaun Watson For Heisman

No. 1 Clemson defeated rival South Carolina 37-32 today, wrapping up an undefeated regular season in the process. The Tigers were pushed hard by the upset-minded Gamecocks, but they withstood the challenge thanks in large part to a superhuman effort from quarterback DeShaun Watson.

Watson completed 20-of-27 passes for 279 yards and one touchdown while rushing for 114 yards and three more scores. After the game, former Clemson star DeAndre Hopkins tweeted out his support for Watson for the Heisman Trophy.

The man they call "Nuk" has a point. Watson has produced 36 combined touchdowns and nearly 4,000 yards of total offense for the No. 1 team in the country. Those are numbers worthy of Heisman consideration.
