Former Clemson Defensive End Ebenezer Ogundeko Arrested For Assault, Tweets That He "Hates Cops"

This off-season has not gone well for former Clemson defensive end Ebenezer Ogundeko. The former blue chip recruit was dismissedfrom the ACC program after being charged with a count of financial transaction fraud in May. Ogundeko had since announced his transfer to FCS program Tennessee State, but now that may be up in the air. TigerNetreports that Ogundeko was arrested on Friday in connection to an assault at an off-campus party.

Former Clemson defensive end Ebenezer Ogundeko was arrested July 24th for an incident that took place in March, the embattled New York native’s second arrest since late May.

Ogundeko was arrested last Friday after an investigation into an alleged mob assault at an off-campus party.

Friday’s arrest stemmed from an incident that took place March 27 at The Pier at Clemson apartments, and he was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Friday morning and released later that day on a personal recognizance bond of $1,092.50. The (Seneca) Journal reported Ogundeko's arrest in its Tuesday edition.

Ogundeko is not taking things in stride, based on a recent tweet, which he deleted after about an hour.

Ebenezer Ogundeko tweets "i dead ass hate the cops".

This is very bad for Ogundeko, whose promising football career looks to be in serious jeopardy now.
