The Clemson Tigers heard all of the noise heading into the team’s game against Florida State and took it out on the Seminoles.
After struggling against North Carolina, the Tigers rebounded with a huge win over Florida State. Clemson dismantled the Seminoles en route to a 45-14 win.
The only negative of the day came when kicker B.T. Potter missed a 24-yard field goal attempt in the closing seconds of the first half.
Head coach Dabo Swinney didn’t let Potter off the hook for that miss as he chewed his ear out on the sidelines.
Fans watching from home weren’t happy with Swinney’s decision to call out his kicker when the team had a 28-0 lead.
Even a former college football kicker decided to weigh in.
“Really bold move to try and ruin your young kickers confidence in a cupcake game…” former South Carolina kicker Elliott Fry said on Twitter.

Fry wasn’t the only one to criticize Swinney for his actions on the field.
We doubt Dabo will sweat too much about the comments from Fry as the Tigers continue their undefeated season.
He’s all business Clemson gears up for the rest of ACC play and a potential College Football Playoff berth.
