Georgia Apparently Oversold Its Student Season Ticket Allotment, Students Could Get Turned Away From Saturday's Clemson Game

Georgia students with tickets to Saturday's season opening game against Clemson should arrive to the contest early. There's a chance Bulldogs' students with tickets could get turned away at the gates of Sanford Stadium.

It appears that the university has oversold its student ticket allotment to better the chances of achieving max attendance at home games, a policy many schools use. If Sanford Stadium reaches its capacity, late-arriving students with tickets will not be allowed in.

Georgia's student ticket policy can be found here. The price for student tickets for home games isn't listed on the Bulldogs' site, but they were $5 a game in 2013.

Sanford Stadium's capacity is 92,746.
