Six quarterbacks have been taken so far in this year's NFL Draft.
After three rounds of the NFL Draft, we've seen six signal-callers come off the board.
The first three, as most know, were taken in the first 12 picks. UNC's Mitchell Trubisky was taken No. 2 overall by the Chicago Bears. The Kansas City Chiefs moved up to No. 10 overall to take Texas Tech's Patrick Mahomes. And the Houston Texans got their man - Clemson's Deshaun Watson - at No. 12 overall.
In the next two rounds, however, three more were taken.
Former Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer was taken with the 20th pick of the second round. He went to the Cleveland Browns.
Davis Webb of Cal and C.J. Beathard of Iowa were both taken in the third round. Webb landed with the New York Giants, while Beathard landed with the San Francisco 49ers.
Here's the full list:
2nd Overall: Mitch Trubisky (UNC) - Chicago Bears
10th Overall: Patrick Mahomes (Texas Tech) - Kansas City Chiefs
12th Overall: Deshaun Watson (Clemson) - Houston Texans
52nd Overall: DeShone Kizer (Notre Dame) - Cleveland Browns
87th Overall: Davis Webb (Cal) - New York Giants
104th Overall: C.J. Beathard (Iowa) - San Francisco 49ers
There's no doubt that at least a few more will be taken Saturday. It'll be interesting to see which player has the best career. As Tom Brady and Dak Prescott has proved, you don't have to be a first-round pick to turn into a star.
