ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit has an interesting College Football Playoff foursome at the moment.
Each week, ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit gives us a look at the four teams he'd have in the College Football Playoff if the season had ended. This week, he has two teams from the same conference.
Herbstreit, at the moment, has Alabama, Penn State, Georgia and TCU. He has Wisconsin and Ohio State as the next two out, which means he has three teams from the Big Ten in his top six.
Of course, Alabama and Georgia are on a collision course for the SEC title game, and one of the Big Ten teams can emerge as conference champion. So while Herbstreit's top six make sense now, it's unlikely things look this way when the season is over.
