Throughout this season Dabo Swinney has kept the Clemson Tigers motivated by saying they don’t get any respect. All that chatter is clearly bothering ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum, who blasted the two-time national champion on Get Up!
Finebaum has been critical of Clemson for the majority of this season. He doesn’t believe the defending champions are playing strong enough competition in the ACC.
Regardless of what anyone thinks, the reality is that Clemson will be in the College Football Playoff if it wins this Saturday. The selection committee will not keep an undefeated ACC team out of the postseason.
With the Playoff approaching fairly soon, Finebaum fired a few shots at Swinney for being the “worst winner in sports.”
“The guy just can’t keep his trap shut,” Finebaum said on ESPN’s Get Up. “Somebody just give the man a pacifier, send him to timeout and we’ll check in with him on Dec. 28 when he finally plays a legitimate team during this entire college football season.”

This all stems from Swinney’s recent comments, where he said Clemson would drop 20 spots in the rankings if it lost a game.
We’ll find out in the near future who will get the last laugh, but don’t expect this rift between Finebaum and Swinney to go away anytime soon.
