Clemson knocked off Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl Thursday night, and as a result, the Tigers will be playing for their first national title since 1981 in just over a week. It won't surprise you to hear that many former Clemson players are excited about the accomplishment. Former quarterback Tajh Boyd is one of them.

After the contest, NBC 26's Brendan Robertson snapped a photo of Boyd and head coach Dabo Swinney embracing on the field. Boyd later tweeted that he's "proud" of his program.

Boyd was the team's starting quarterback from 2011 to 2013, helping lead the program to 32 wins over that timespan. Don't be surprised if he shows up at the national title game too.
