Once the Clemson Tigers made the decision to start Trevor Lawrence at quarterback, senior Kelly Bryant elected to transfer. Bryant has taken several visits over the past few months, but one program he is considering might not be the most welcoming place.
This season is one that the Miami Hurricanes would like to forget, especially considering the inconsistent play at quarterback. In an effort to improve at that position, head coach Mark Richt is seeking options to upgrade his offense, which includes Bryant.
However, the recent news of scheduling a visit with the graduate transfer is stirring trouble with some players on the roster.
On Monday night, running back Lorenzo Lingard posted a cryptic tweet. He isn’t alone in that field, as Jarren Williams isn’t a fan of the recent news.
From the Sun-Sentinel:
“They say it’s business. I believe in my QBs … Anything possible with opportunity but loyalty is the code? … I forgot its business,” Lingard posted in a tweet that has since been deleted. He added a laughing emoji and the words “#Same opinion free.”
