Defensive end LaSamuel Davis will transfer out of Clemson.
Clemson redshirt freshman LaSamuel Davis will no longer be suiting up for the Clemson Tigers, as he's set to transfer out of the football program according to TigerNet.com.
Davis, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound defensive end, signed his letter of intent in 2015, but did not enroll at Clemson until January 2016. He sat out the 2016-2017 season as a redshirt.
As a high school senior, Davis recorded 120 tackles, 16 sacks, three fumble recoveries and an interception, and he was the No. 53 ranked defensive end recruit in the 2015 recruiting class, per 247 Sports. He had offers from Arizona State, Clemson, Florida, Kansas State, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Tennessee, UCLA, South Carolina and Wake Forest.
