Although the Clemson Tigers are taking care of business on the road against the Louisville Cardinals, the offense suffered a scare when Travis Etienne limped off the field.

Etienne is having an incredible performance this afternoon. The junior tailback has 14 carries for 192 rushing yards and a touchdown.

During the fourth quarter, Etienne ran out of bounds on his own power because of an apparent leg injury.

The severity of Etienne's injury is unknown at the time. It's possible that he's suffering from cramps or a pulled muscle, especially since he managed to walk off the field.

With the Tigers lead up to 31-3 over the Cardinals, it wouldn't make much sense to put Etienne back in the game. Despite getting off to a slow start this weekend, Clemson has dominated in the second half against Louisville. Etienne is a main reason for the team's success on offense. Dabo Swinney won't have to worry about not having his top running back for the rest of this game, but it'd be a tough blow for the Tigers if they don't have him for an extended period of time. For now, the running game will lean on Lyn-J Dixon and Darien Rencher to finish up this win We'll provide an update on Travis Etienne's status when more information is available. [

Uh oh: Travis Etienne just came up limping after that run. Went out of bounds on his own volition.
