Trevor Lawrence Just Threw 2 Awful Interceptions vs. Louisville

Trevor Lawrence throws up his hands during a college football game at North Carolina. He is the favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft as of now.

The Clemson Tigers entered the 2019 college football season as the No. 1 team in the country coming off of their national title win over Alabama. Clemson blew out the Crimson Tide in the title game, but hasn't looked like the same team this season.

Despite holding an undefeated record, the Tigers fell to No. 3 in the polls after a slow start.

Star quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who lit up college football as a true freshman, has struggled mightily this year. He's already thrown more interceptions this season than he did all of last year.

On Saturday afternoon, he added to that total with a truly awful throw against Louisville.

Lawrence stared down his receiver and tried to hit him in the ednzone, but found a safety waiting for the ball instead.

Check it out.

The sophomore quarterback threw another interception in the endzone just a few minutes after tossing the one above.

So far in the first quarter, Lawrence is 3-of-7 for nine yards and two interceptions.

Luckily for the Tigers, running back Travis Etienne is capable of carrying the load. He has 78 yards on just four carries. Perhaps Clemson should just hand off the ball from now on.

Clemson holds 3-0 lead over Louisville.
