On Saturday afternoon, the Clemson Tigers faced off against the Florida State Seminoles. 10 years ago, it would have been unthinkable for the Tigers to do what they’re doing to the Seminoles this afternoon.
Clemson raced out to a 28-0 lead in the first half against Florida State thanks to four total touchdowns from star quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
The Tigers piled on with another touchdown early in the second half to open up a 35-0 lead.
Unfortunately, it’s not all good news for the Tigers today.
Star wide receiver Tee Higgins was spotted on the sideline in street clothes. He played in the first half, but appears to have suffered an injury that will keep him out for the second half.

Higgins pulled in two receptions for 44 yards in the first half.
It’s unclear what exactly happened to the star wide receiver. Seeing him in street clothes is obviously a bad sign, but we don’t want to speculate on the severity of a potential injury.
For now, the Tigers will roll with fellow wide receivers Justyn Ross, Amari Rodgers and Joe Ngata in his absence.
Clemson currently holds a 42-0 lead midway through the third quarter.
Stay tuned for the latest on Higgins’ status.
