Who Is Calling Tonight's College Football Playoff National Championship Game?

The College Football Playoff National Championship game between Alabama and Clemson kicks off Monday night, and ESPN has brought out its A-Team for the festivities. Actually, the network has brought out pretty much everyone on staff for the event.

ESPN's "megacast" includes its main broadcast - which will be shown on ESPN - along with 14 alternate productions. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the game for the network.

Heather Cox and Tom Rinaldi will handle the sidelines. Cox gets the Tigers - Rinaldi gets the Crimson Tide.

ESPN will have different broadcasts covering the event on ESPN2, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, the SEC Network, ESPN Classic, ESPN Goal Line and ESPN Deportes, along with a number of options for viewers on ESPN3. Hopefully the contest lives up to the billing.
