Week 3 of the college football season is nearly here. Heading into the weekend’s slate of games, the major storyline this weekend revolves around the East Coast.
The Carolinas and neighboring areas are bracing for the arrival of Hurricane Florence – which is expected to make landfall this week. The hurricane has already had a significant impact on the upcoming games.
Several games have been canceled, while others are moving locations or times.
Count the Clemson Tigers among them. According to Matt Connolly of The State, Clemson is moving up its kickoff time against Georgia Southern from 3:30 p.m. ET to noon ET.

The Clemson-Georgia Southern football game scheduled for Saturday at Clemson will be played but with a different start time.
The game will now kick off at noon, according to a source.
The game was originally scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
Regardless of the time the game is played, the Tigers will be a heavy favorite on their home soil against an inferior opponent.
