College Football Recap: Week 7

Filling you in on the most exciting weekend in college football so far this year.

Week 7 marks the half-way point for many teams in college football. By this time, fans, players, and coaches all have a better sense of how good their team really is, and realistic goals start to be set.

Let's get right to it -- there was no shortage of excitement in week 7.

A week after losing a heartbreaker to NC State, the Florida State Seminoles rebounded in a big way versus Boston College.

Temple and UConn faced off in an overtime thriller in Storrs. The Huskies just couldn't pull it out.

What a weekend for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. They hosted Mike and Mike in the Morning and College GameDay on campus, and Samantha Steele even got in on Trick Shot Monday this week. Then the Irish followed it up by toughing out a win vs Stanford in overtime to keep the national championship hopes intact.

The Syracuse Orange were looking to pull off a big upset at Rutgers, but fell just a bit short.

Ohio State had to fend off Indiana's upset bid. It wasn't pretty, but getting to 7-0 is never easy.

USC managed to take care of Washington as they look to move back into the Top 10.

Missouri lost to Alabama on Saturday and now fans are wondering if the Tigers can even finish bowl-eligible.

Geno Smith continued his great streak of passes without throwing an interception, but the Mountaineers got demolished by Texas Tech in Lubbock.
