Milwaukee (Wisc.) Nicolet five-star small forward Jalen Johnson, the No. 4 overall recruit in the country, has committed to Duke.
Earlier today, Johnson hinted that a decision was forthcoming. He had recently trimmed his list down to Duke, Arizona, Kentucky and Wisconsin.
Duke had been considered the favorite to land Johnson for a while, and the 6-foot-8, 215-pound star made it official moments ago.
“I’m excited to announce that next year, I’ll be playing for Coach K and Duke University,” Johnson said in his commitment video. “Go Duke.”

Johnson is the second player to commit to Duke in the 2020 class, joining five-star point guard Jeremy Roach, who pledged in early May.
The Blue Devils are also in the running for a number of other five-stars, including combo guard Cade Cunningham, shooting guard Brandon Boston and big man Walker Kessler.
Duke signed the No. 4 recruiting class in 2019 and the current 2020 haul is ranked first in the country after Johnson’s commitment.
