Actor Joseph Gannascoli, Vito From The Sopranos, Is Rooting For Kentucky To Beat Duke

Joseph Gannascoli is an actor, perhaps best known for his role as Vito Spatafore on HBO's hit series The Sopranos. In the show, the 56-year-old Gannascoli played a mobster from New Jersey, but his real life roots are to Brooklyn, and he's pulling for the team with Brooklyn coaching ties in this year's Final Four.

Barry Rohrssen, who Gannascoli references, is a Kentucky assistant coach known for his recruiting chops and New York roots. Gannascoli and Rohrssen apparently go back a long ways.

It looks like Duke is about to do its part and win its semifinal over Michigan State. Will Rohrssen's (and Gannascoli's) Wildcats "whack" them in the title game on Monday? They have to get past Wisconsin first.
