Duke basketball got a serious run from Florida State today, and missed Zion Williamson for an entire half.
Thanks to a huge performance from freshman Cam Reddish, the Blue Devils survived.
Duke outlasted FSU 80-78 in Tallahassee, and Reddish, one of Duke’s four star freshmen, and a probably lottery pick in his own right, knocked down a clutch three in the biggest moment of his season.
Down one point with about two seconds left, Duke somehow got Reddish open for a wide open three.
Reddish entered college with a reputation as a shooter, but has been pretty pedestrian from deep, shooting just over 33-percent from the year.
With the game on the line today, though, he knocked it down.

Cam Reddish tied his second-best scoring outing of the year with 23 points, while his superstar teammate R.J. Barrett led the way with 32.
Barrett was 10-for-19 from the field and hit 4-of-7 threes, while Reddish was 9-of-15 and 5-of-8 from deep.
Williamson missed the second half of the game, after being poked in the eye. He had 11 points and eight rebounds before exiting.
Duke has another tough game on Monday night, when they host a hot Syracuse team, coming off four straight wins entering today.
