Michael Savarino, the grandson of Coach K, has decided to enter the transfer portal.

It was first reported by Matt Zenitz of On3.

With Coach K no longer the head coach, this could be the start of a small exodus of players that decide to head elsewhere. Savarino is set to be a graduate transfer for the 2022-23 season. He appeared in 11 games this season for the Blue Devils and averaged a little over two minutes of playing time. He'll likely want to go somewhere that gives him more of a shot since he's only played in 13 games in his first two seasons. The college basketball world isn't surprised by this news.

Duke has handed the keys over to Jon Scheyer with Coach K now retired. We'll have to see where Savarino commits to now.
