At 6-foot-11 and with the potential to get stronger, four-star Dawson Garcia could become a very valuable member of a big program's front court. He is garnering attention from across the country, with several NCAA blue bloods expressing interest.

According to Zagsblog, Garcia revealed that he has been hearing from Duke, Gonzaga, Kentucky, and North Carolina recently. However, he does not yet have an offer from any of them.

Garcia is considered the No. 29 overall prospect in the country by 247Sports. He is the No. 4 power forward in the country and the No. 2 prospect from the state of Minnesota.

247Sports' Crystal Ball Predictions are currently giving him a 50-percent chance of going to Big East power Marquette.

He has already made visits to Marquette, Baylor and Texas, and has spoken glowingly about Indiana, Marquette, Minnesota, and Kentucky.

But despite reserving his top marks for the Midwest teams, he indicated that geography would not be the deciding factor.

“Geography doesn’t really affect me at all. I like the nice weather, but being from Minnesota, winter doesn’t bother me at all, four seasons doesn’t really affect me. Being far away from home or being close doesn’t really matter to me, just my relationship with the coaching staff and how comfortable I feel about that school.”

One of the biggest programs anywhere, the Duke Blue Devils, will most likely be in need of a center for the Class of 2020 by next year. Perhaps Garcia will be one of Coach K's big signings next year.
