Every member of Duke's four-man freshman class played a major role in leading the Blue Devils to the 2015 NCAA Tournament championship. Three of those freshmen --Jahlil Okafor, Justise Winslow and now Tyus Jones-- are headed to the NBA after only one collegiate season, while shooting guard Grayson Allen will be expected to be a major contributor next year after his breakout NCAA title game performance.
This morning, with the news of Jones' departure becoming official, the Duke basketball Instagram account posted a tribute to the 2014-15 freshman class and its accomplishments. The message of the post was "The Hype Is Real."
This quartet of players only spent one season together in Durham, but I doubt Duke fans will be forgetting them any time soon.
