Duke basketball has a big non-conference game in New York tonight. The Blue Devils face Texas Tech, which has quickly become one of the better teams in the Big 12 under Chris Beard.

Coming off of an Elite Eight run, the Red Raiders are 10-0 to start the 2018-19 season.

Tech is up to No. 12 in the country, but with just a pair of power conference wins, they're still a bit unproven. They'll have a shot to make a big statement tonight.

Bettors are all about the Blue Devils though, as you might have expected.

Duke basketball opened as a 7.5-point favorite over Texas Tech, and that line is as high as 10 at some sportsbooks.

OddsShark has the line at either 9.5 or 10 points depending on the book. The total score is set at 148.5.

Per the gambling site, 62-percent of bettors are backing Duke.

Duke, which sits at 10-1 on the year, is 7-4 against some big spreads this season. Texas Tech is 5-5.

The game at Madison Square Garden tips off at 7 p.m. It will be broadcast on ESPN2.
