For his senior season, five-star power forward Harry Giles, the nation's No. 2 player, has announced that he will transfer to Oak Hill Academy, the basketball powerhouse that counts Carmelo Anthony, Michael Beasley, Kevin Durant, Brandon Jennings, Ty Lawson, and Rajon Rondo as alumni.
Another notable Oak Hill alumnus? Former Duke guard Quinn Cook. After hearing the news, Cook congratulated Giles, one of Duke's top recruiting targets, on Instagram.
We're not sure if this says anything about Duke's chances to land Giles, but if he has a good relationship with Cook, that can't hurt the Blue Devils' chances. Giles is considering Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Wake Forest, as well as Duke.
