The Blue Devils will be without the star freshman tonight.

Duke will be without its star freshman tonight. The Blue Devils have announced that Marvin Bagley won't be playing.

Bagley, one of the top recruits in the country, suffered a knee injury against North Carolina. The injury was sustained in the first half.

Duke went on to lose to UNC, 82-78. Bagley played 39 minutes, scoring 15 points and grabbing 16 rebounds.

Bagley will be held out of tonight's game at Georgia Tech. The Blue Devils say it's precautionary.

"As a precautionary measure, Marvin Bagley III will not play tonight at Georgia Tech with a mild knee sprain. The injury was sustained in the first half on Thursday at North Carolina," Duke announced on Twitter.

Bagley will be missed, obviously. He's been one of the best players in the country this year.

The potential No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft is averaging more than 21 points and 11 rebounds a game. He leads Duke in a number of statistical categories.

Duke and Georgia Tech are set to tip off at 6 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on ESPN.
