Duke Junior Forward Sean Obi Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery
Duke big man Sean Obi underwent knee surgery in New York on Wednesday, the program announced today.
The 6-foot-9, 250-pound forward out of Nigeria tweeted out a picture of himself following the procedure.
The knee surgery was done by Dr. Riley Williams, the team doctor for USA Basketball and the Brooklyn Nets.

Obi, a transfer from Rice, appeared in just 10 games last season. He played a season-high six minutes in an ACC Tournament game loss to Notre Dame.
Duke is widely expected to be the preseason No. 1 team in the country heading into the 2016-17 season.
