This week started on the wrong foot for Duke as it fell short to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Once again, the Blue Devils didn't receive enough scoring outside of RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish.

With Zion Williamson still out of action due to his knee injury, Duke has shown signs of slowing down. His absence in the paint continues to affect the offensive production for the Blue Devils.

Duke currently sits a game behind Virginia and North Carolina in the ACC. Two losses in the past three games has really hurt the Blue Devils at such a pivotal point of the season.

Next up on the schedule is a showdown with the Miami Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes are coming off a stunning loss to Georgia Tech. It's hard to sustain success when Chris Lykes is the only consistent player for Jim Larrañaga's squad.

According to ESPN's matchup predictor, the Blue Devils have a 97.4 percent chance of defeating the Hurricanes.

Even if Williamson doesn't return to the starting lineup for this weekend, Duke should get back on the winning track on Saturday.

The Blue Devils have back-to-back home games on the schedule before finishing the season at Chapel Hill. The rematch between Duke and North Carolina could decide the top seed in the conference tournament.
