Duke, UNC Top Secondary Market For College Basketball Tickets This Weekend

It is a power-packed Tuesday night for college basketball, one night after college football had a back-and-forth slugfest between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Clemson Tigers, with the SEC ultimate reigning supreme. Tonight, on January 12th, 10 ranked teams play including three top-10 teams playing on the road: No. 8 Miami (FL) visits No. 13 Virginia, No. 1 Kansas faces No. 11 West Virginia and No. 3 Maryland plays at Michigan.

But on the secondary market, the most expensive college basketball tickets all involve teams playing on Saturday, January 16th including four of the top teams in the country having home contests. The ACC takes the top two spots on this week’s list with both the Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels hosting conference opponents. Duke has the most expensive college tickets on the secondary market this week for their game against Notre Dame with an average price of $342.97 and a get-in price of $207 with North Carolina coming in second with an average ticket price of $209.32 and a get-in price of $118 for their game against North Carolina State.

With college hoops centering around the state of North Carolina this weekend, college basketball fans can get to their favorite team’s home game by booking a flight to Raleigh through Hipmunk.com. The Terrapins will be at home against the Ohio State Buckeyes at the Xfinity Center with an average price just below $150 and a get-in price of $82, with the Auburn Tigers trying to knock off the Kentucky Wildcats in the SEC with an average ticket price of $148.09 and a get-in price of $60.
