Duke vs. Wisconsin Was The Most-Watched Title Game In 18 Years

Duke's victory over Wisconsin in Monday night's national championship tilt was an instant classic, and will go down as one of the most entertaining title games in years. It was also apparently one of the most-watched title games in years. According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, Monday night's game was averaged 28.3 million viewers, which is the highest number in 18 years. It actually came somewhat close to matching this year's Ohio State vs. Oregon College Football Playoff National Championship. It's also the highest number for any kind of basketball game since the 1998 NBA Finals, which featured Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls.
