Duke's Grayson Allen Hushes Crowd After Hitting A Three-Pointer

Grayson Allen shushes the crowd during a Duke game.

Duke's Grayson Allen hushed the Wake Forest crowd today after hitting his first three-pointer of the afternoon.

The very virtue of Duke basketball being on the court is a guarantee that things are going to get chippy, but throw Grayson Allen into the mix and you've got yourself a powder keg waiting to explode.

He's had difficulty keeping his emotions (and limbs!) in check all year, and it's almost as if he's reveled in being cast as a villain. So today, with the Wake Forest crowd unleashing a barrage of boo's on him each and every time he touched the ball, Allen fired back with a little gesture of his own after sinking a three-pointer in the first half.

Here's a little taste of the treatment Allen has been getting this afternoon:

Allen had an interesting day, getting T'd up and then shoved into the Duke bench by a Wake Forest player. Ultimately, he and the Blue Devils had the last laugh, however, coming from behind to win the game on a Luke Kennard shot.
