Duke's Marshall Plumlee Reportedly Putting Army Commitment On Hold To Pursue Basketball Career

We could have three Plumlee brothers in the NBA next season.

According to ESPN's Jeff Goodman, the youngest brother, Marshall, is putting his Army commitments on hold so he can pursue a professional basketball career.

Marshall Plumlee, who played his final season at Duke this past season, was in R.O.T.C. and went through a contracting ceremony in early 2015. He spent a month at Fort Knox the following summer for officer training. Marshall Plumlee is four inches taller than the maximum height (80 inches) to join the Army, but he was granted a special waiver.
