ESPN Releases Updated Preseason Top 25 For The 2016-17 College Basketball Season
The World Wide Leader has revised its way-too-early preseason top 25 for the 2016-17 college basketball season now that the NBA Draft entry deadline has passed.
There aren't too many surprises.
Duke, which will likely be the unanimous No. 1 team in every preseason poll, has the top spot in ESPN's rankings. The Blue Devils return Grayson Allen and Amile Jefferson, among others, and bring in the No. 1 recruiting class in the country. Their rotation will be loaded.
Villanova trails Duke in ESPN's ranking. The Wildcats, the reigning national champions, got great news last week when Josh Hart announced he was withdrawing from the NBA Draft. Can they repeat next spring?
