ESPN's Early Prediction For Duke-North Carolina Next Week

An ESPN logo.

Duke and North Carolina will meet for the second time this season in exactly 10 days. There could be a lot on the line.

Currently, the Blue Devils and Tar Heels sit second and third in the ACC standings. Duke has four games left in conference play while UNC has three.

Additionally, while both teams are locks for the NCAA Tournament, a win over an arch-rival late in the year won't do anything to hurt seeding and could very well boost it.

The first time these two teams met, back on February 8, UNC beat Duke 82-78 in Chapel Hill. Guards Joel Berry II and Kenny Williams led the way, combining for half of the Heels' 82 points.

Who will win the rematch? ESPN's BPI favors Duke more than 3-to-1.

ESPN probability prediction for Duke-UNC.

Duke will almost certainly be favored by Vegas in this game, but not by much. These rivalry games are usually tightly-contested.

Both teams are on ESPN tonight in an ACC double-header. UNC travels to Syracuse at 7 p.m. ET and Duke hosts Louisville at 9 p.m. ET.

Duke and North Carolina will play at 8:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 3 on ESPN.
