Watch: ESPN's Jay Williams Says Harry Giles Shouldn't Play This Season For Duke

Harry Giles is one of three Duke basketball freshmen out of action right now due to injury.

Giles has had two major knee surgeries in his career and is sitting out after getting an arthroscopic procedure this fall. According to ESPN analyst and former Duke star Jay Williams, Giles should sit out the entire season.

Williams' reasoning is simple: if Giles chooses to focus on rehab and training for the NBA, he gives himself a better opportunity to stay healthy. Per Williams, it isn't worth risking another injury simply to be a one-and-done player.

Giles and fellow freshmen Marcus Bolden and Jayson Tatum missed Duke's first two games this weekend with injuries. None of the three are expected to play in tomorrow's showdown with Kansas in the Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden.
