We're about four months away from the 2016 NCAA men's basketball tournament. Get excited, people. 

In anticipation of the tournament - and the season, which begins tomorrow, when nearly every team in the country will play its first game of the season - Joey Brackets has released his first projected bracket of the season. 

Brackets, known more commonly as Joe Lunardi, ESPN's bracketologist, has released his first "Bracketology" of the 2015-16 campaign.

Some of the takeaways:

  • No. 1 seeds - North Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland, Kansas. 
  • No. 2 seeds - Villanova, Duke, Arizona, Virginia. 
  • No. 3 seeds - Oklahoma, Wichita State, Iowa State, Gonzaga.
  • No. 4 seeds - Michigan State, Cal, Butler, Indiana. 

Conferences with the most teams: 

  • ACC - 8
  • Big Ten - 7 
  • Big 12 - 6
  • Big East - 6
