Former Duke star Jahlil Okafor has gotten off to a promising start on the court in his rookie season with the Philadephia 76ers, but he’s had some trouble off of it.
Okafor, 19, got into a fight with a man outside a Boston night club last week. He was also stopped by police for driving 108 MPH on a Philadelphia bridge. There was also an incident at a Philadelphia night club in October, when a heckler pointed a gun at Okafor.
According to ESPN’s Chris Broussard, Okafor will now have a full-time body guard accompanying him.
