ACC Weighs In On Latest Grayson Allen Controversy From Today's Game vs. Boston College

Grayson Allen appeared to, once again, swing his leg at an opposing player during today's game against Boston College. The ACC has weighed in after video of the play went viral.

According to ESPN's Andy Katz, ACC officials reviewed the play, and say that there is nothing conclusive about Allen's intent during the play.

From the ACC: League officials looked at the Grayson Allen play (left leg extended back against Boston College's Connar Tava) in the first half Saturday and "there is nothing conclusive that can be determined.'' No call was made during the game, so no further action needed/warranted.

For whatever it's worth, Boston College's Connar Tava seems pretty sure that Allen did intend to trip/kick at him, based on his Twitter activity after the game. This definitely wasn't the most egregious Allen play, but it is hard to give the Duke star any sort of benefit of the doubt, considering just how often he's caught up in plays like this now. Allen sat out one game after being suspended "indefinitely" and stripped of his captaincy by head coach Mike Krzyzewski following an incident against Elon, and a consequent bench tantrum.
