On Thursday night, Zion Williamson made his return to the floor for the Duke Blue Devils. It’s his first game back since he suffered a knee sprain in the team’s game against North Carolina.
After missing five games, Williamson returned fully healthy. In the first half, the star forward put up 21 points, nine rebounds and foul steals, leading to Duke’s 34-28 half-time lead.
While his return had everyone talking, there was one moment that stole everyone’s attention. Syracuse forward Frank Howard appeared to intentionally trip Williamson midway through the first half.
Video of the play quickly went viral on Twitter with some saying Howard should be ejected from the contest.
Former Duke star and ESPN analyst Jay Williams weighed in on Twitter saying Howard should be given a Flagrant 2.

During the half-time report, Williams ripped Howard for his alleged actions and said there’s no place for those antics in the game.
Luckily, Williamson escaped without injury and looked to be unfazed by the entire incident.
Regardless of his intentions, it’s a bad look for Howard – especially in Williamson’s first game back since suffering an injury.
Duke holds a 40-35 lead with just over 15 minutes left to play in the contest. The winner of this game takes on North Carolina in the ACC semifinals.
