When he was selected by the Miami Heat out of Duke with the 10th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, Justise Winslow probably assumed that he would be playing with Dwyane Wade for years. Instead, the two players only overlapped in Miami for one season, with Wade’s surprising move to the Chicago Bulls. Winslow took to Instagram on Friday to thank Wade for his guidance over the past season, calling the three-time NBA Champion his “idol.”
Winslow averaged 6.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game as a rookie. He’ll be counted on to be a huge part of the post-Wade era in Miami.
