Mike Krzyzewski Will Not Coach Duke Tonight At Georgia Tech

Duke basketball has dropped four of its last five games to drop out of the AP Top 25 for the first time in nine years. Tonight, the Blue Devils face a must-win at Georgia Tech, and they'll have to get the job done without their head coach.

Mike Krzyzewski did not travel with the team after falling ill last night. Associate head coach Jeff Capel will coach tonight's game.

It doesn't sound like Krzyzewski's situation is anything serious at this point, but we're sure anti-Dukies will make some jokes about the last time he left mid-season with an illness. That was 1994-95, and Duke finished 13-18, with interim head coach Pete Gaudet taking credit for a 4-15 mark after Krzyzewski left the bench.

Duke and Georgia Tech will tip off at 9 PM EST on ESPNU.
